OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Dear Peggy and Mahana,

Dayla (now Dakota) made it in great shape yesterday – thank you very much for your superb care of her.  We had a 4-hour drive home and she took it like a trooper.  We have 2 solid black German Shepherds – Spartacus and Tara.  Spart is about 20 months, and Tara is about 16 months.  You can see them in the pictures attached.  They took to Dakota very well, she became part of the pack very quickly. When we moved  we knew we wanted room for our dogs – we have 1 1/2 acres most of which is open to them.  They are fenced in and very safe.  Steve is retired and spends most of his day with the dogs around the house, he is really part of their pack. The dogs are his constant companions.

Dakota is a very special dog, not only is she beautiful, she seems very healthy and happy.  She already has found her way into our (collectively) hearts!

Thank you!

Taylor-14wks

We have named Bruno “Potsy”.  Just want you to know what an absolutely fabulous, charming, little creature he is; and how well he is getting along with our two older German Shepherds. Potsy is the most easy-going person on the face of the earth. He’s doing very well with his potty training, eats well, is happy, seems well adjusted, and makes friends wherever he goes. He is just a delight! And thank you very, very much for the wonderful treatment you gave him, because he wouldn’t be as wonderful as he is if he hadn’t had perfectly wonderful love and care.

Trixie 3- 4 mo.

August 27, 2014

She’s having so much fun and so are we.   Thank you again for such a wonderful gift.

September 12, 2014

Trixie went to vet today and made a big hit. They took pictures of her and posed with her. Everyone at the vet loves her.  The doctor said she loves her disposition and how easy she is.  She said sometimes shepherds can be stand offish or nervous as puppies but she’s perfect.  She weighs 19.5 lbs. Her first visit she was 11.  They are happy with her weight gain. They said she will gain about 3 lbs a week now.  Peggy…she is such a pleasure.  She is a gift from God. So easy, so sweet. Except when she gets a bath…YIKES!  lol. Thank you again and again for giving us such enjoyment.

November 1, 2014

Hello! Letting you know how much we are enjoying Trixie. She went to the vet maybe 2 weeks ago or 3 and she was 30lbs. She is getting so big.  She is loved so much and she knows it….haha. She adores us and thinks my husband walks on water. He’s the alpha I suppose.

Take care

November 17, 2014

Hi Peggy,

I had to send you Trixie’s diploma from puppy training…lol.  She barely passed haha. She’s too darn cute.   The graduation picture is from this evening.  Honestly. …shes the best thing that has ever happened to our family!

The day we received Thunder, Aug 15th 2014 (Shatten)

Hi Peggy,

It was really nice to get your phone call the other day.  I’ve enclosed some photos of Thunder.  He’s making a wonderful companion for our Cairn Terrier, Stormy.  He was slightly taller than she when we brought him home and now 2 weeks later he’s already about 3 inches taller and he’s starting to “herd” her around the house, mainly using his hind quarters and body to move her or trap her.  It is wonderful to see the two of them playing together.

Thank you for such a wonderful addition to our family.  Know that he is loved and cherished.  He will be my husband’s service dog, and is so very welcome to our household.

Thanks again,

Trudi – August 30, 2014

We LOVE her!!!!

3/22/14

Hi Peggy,

We are all getting along quite well… At first she was Very jealous of my Sheltie!                But with the help of the trainer, we nipped that in the bud right away!  The first class last Sunday was more for socialization.  She did really well, and the trainer said he should use Sookie for all the examples, because she was so well behaved!! Yay!! Sookie is very smart! She learns very fast!  The potty training is still a work in progress, although she has not gone number 2 in the house since last weekend – so that’s a plus! But I have limited her space to only the kitchen and the living room!  She has learned where all the doors are to go out, and bolts towards them when she needs to go potty!  It’s pretty funny to see!She really is a beautiful puppy. She is very sweet, and has such a wonderful disposition!  She is everything we wanted in a pup!

4-7-14

Hi Peggy,

Oh my gosh! Today, Sookie tried to bring a big stick into the house.  I told her NO – she backed away, and tried again. Again, I said No.  She backed off, I turned away, and then she charged into the house, and went straight to her crate and put the stick inside.. I couldn’t stop laughing!!  But – that just goes to show how smart she is!!!  We LOVE her so much!! She is so well behaved; it’s truly unbelievable!  You did a wonderful job raising such a well-mannered pup.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for her!!!

4-13-14

Hi Peggy,

I just had Vladea the Russian Dog Trainer come up yesterday!  He has been on David Letterman, worked with the secret service training dogs, (Pres. Clinton) etc..  He’s kind of a celebrity dog trainer here in the Los Angeles/Orange County area!  You can look him up on the web under So Cal Dog Training…  I read about him in the German Shepherd magazine, and I was so impressed I gave him a call!!  He has a 12 year old Shepherd, Mika, who is amazing.. Sookie & I met her yesterday as well!!  He asked me to contact you to let you know that Sookie is an outstanding dog, and that you have done an amazing job of breeding/raising her.  He asked me a slew of questions, and said he loves everything you have done and suggested in raising her, from her crate training to feeding!!  He LOVED her confirmation and disposition, and thinks she is gorgeous -and he said she has great EYES! And that’s funny, because that’s exactly why I chose her!! Her eyes!!  I always feel you can tell a lot by looking at the eyes!!  He also said that she has a disposition that is much more mature than her age, he said she has the maturity level of a 5-6 month old pup and that she is very very smart! And that she can be a star!!!!!  Basically – He loves her!!!! But not more than me!!!  I know you are a Proud Mama, and  you should be!!Again, Thank you so much for our Sookie Girl!!!

October 4, 2014

Sookie instantly became a part of our family as soon as we brought her home!  She came to us as a very loving, well-natured puppy.  She is smart, funny, energetic, and loves being the center of attention.  Most importantly you could tell she was raised in a loving environment, which is so important when it comes to German Shepherds.  She loves people, other animals, and is so kind and gentle to small children!  Sookie is highly intelligent and learns very quickly. Because of this, we decided to have her trained by a professional; Vladea – of SoCal Dog Training in Orange County, CA., who is an expert on German Shepherds.  Vladea is so impressed with Sookie’s demeanor and intelligence.  At just 9 months old, I can take her anywhere. In the car, to the beach, walk by a flock of birds, and she stays right by my side with a smile on her face!! She loves to please you!  Vladea calls Sookie his “star” and can see she is an extremely well breed dog, not to mention, one of the most beautiful German Shepherds he’s seen in a very long time!  Everyone who sees Sookie is completely blown away by how beautiful she is!!  Peggy and her family are raising loving, intelligent, beautiful, well breed puppy’s!!

Blessings,

Lori

Duchess at 4 1/2 months old

Hi Peggy and Jack,

We bought a beautiful white shepherd puppy named Schoen from you back in December, and we have loved watching her grow from a puppy to an adult (almost).  Her name is now Duchess, and she loves living in Miami, swimming in the pool and the ocean, and going shopping on Lincoln Rd.  We walk every morning and evening down to our waterfront park where Duchess loves to play with other dogs and fetch a frisbee for us.  Thought you might enjoy a few photos from along the way, from the day we picked her up until now.

Hope all is well,

Ninjo 1-1

Ninjo at 5 months old

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Charchol !!

I hope this e-mail finds you both doing well.  I just wanted to give you a quick update on Ninjo!!! He is an AWESOME German Shepard puppy and he is doing just great!! He has graduated ” Puppy School ” and his trainer was highly impressed with him. He was awarded ‘ Top Of The Class ‘!!!!  Everyone who meets Ninjo is very impressed. Even though he is only five months old, he already knows and obeys numerous commands. Even his vet has told me numerous times that he is THE best German Shepard puppy she has ever seen.  I am very thankful to have Ninjo and I know both he and I will only become closer.  Please enjoy the recent photo of Ninjo. He is up to 65 pounds now and is perfectly healthy. I absolutely love him and we are both enjoying his on-going training.

Thank you!!

Respectfully,

Dakota on his 1st Birthday

Peggy and Mahana,

Dakota is the sweetest, calmest and friendliest GSD we have owned. Everyone loves him because of his sweet disposition, and they comment how friendly he is. He is his Mama’s boy, but he loves everyone. My husband said, “Dakota is the most unique GSD we have ever had” and we have had Shepherds for 60 yrs. I attribute a lot of Dakota’s disposition to his breeding and the quality of dogs they produce. Everyone who sees Dakota tells me what a “beautiful baby” he is. I’m prejudice, but, I agree.

Mary – August 5, 2017

I have watched the interaction between Dakota and his trainer, and the comments that Lorin has made about Dakota.  He’s mentioned how smart he is, how easy he is to train, how calm and friendly he is and also what a beautiful conformation he has.  I asked him a few weeks ago, if something happened to me if he would take him, and I don’t think I had finished the question before he said, yes.  Now this was coming from a man who currently has a 9 yr. old female GSD, and has all along since he started Dakota’s training, said that she would probably be their last big dog.  All of his comments speak volumes to the breeding that you do.  Dakota is doing great and still loves his bubbles and kiddie pool.

Millie at 2 years old

Hi!! I wanted to let you know that we are so in love with our “puppy”. We got Isla, the purple ribbon puppy born 8/6/17, from you in October of 2017. We named her Millie. She is so smart, so sweet and is becoming a perfect helper to my husband, Steve. Steve is a veteran and Police Chief for a total of 28 years. He has had multiple head injuries and was recently diagnosed with CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy), which is what we hear in the news from football players. Millie has naturally learned to “help Steve”. She stays with him, will bark to get my attention if he is having trouble, gets dizzy, chokes, or falls. She will help him get his walker, stays with him if he’s stressed and sleeps with him when I am at work. She will lay perfectly still next to him when he says “help Steve” and let him pet her and just feel her next to him. She has been through two obedience classes and we started Canine Good Citizen but were not able to finish the class due to Steve’s health issues. We plan to try that again. She’s still a little rowdy and likes to jump on people and mouth people. I’m sure if WE had the proper training it wouldn’t be a problem anymore but this is our first dog!! We had hoped to do service dog training but learned that she’s already doing a lot of what she needs to be doing and we don’t need to take her everywhere with us. We can’t thank you enough for our sweet Millie. She is truly a gift from God and I’m pretty sure Steve might not be here today if it wasn’t for her. She has the sweetest personality and that comes from good breeding and great family lines. Thank you so much!!!

Baby Zinn
Zinn at 1 1/2 Years Old

HC’s JoKay’s UnsurpasSable Zinn “Zinn”
Sire: Brian de Marchamalo IPO3, FH, KKL X
Dam: Amalia Lena Egiduis OFA e/h

Summer of 2019 – Honey Creek has been amazing to deal with when we got our puppy, Zinn. Thank you so much for working so hard in getting Zinn to us. It was simply too hot at that time to send him on a flight to Phoenix, AZ, so Peggy and Mahana met us halfway in Amarillo, TX from our home towns with baby Zinn. We’ve had GSDs going on 53 years. I have big plans for Zinn. His training program is coming along amazingly well with a very experienced trainer. Zinn is scary smart. Both Zinn and I are learning new things constantly. Thank you so much for this simply amazing German Shepherd Dog. I pray we’ll make you proud when we start to title him in AKC. I would also like to show him in UKC conformation. Kathy

She is such a super smart and loving puppy.  Our trainer who also helped us with our other GSD Gabe, and who has trained numerous dogs for law enforcement told us she is one of the smartest and best tempered GSDs he has ever trained.  He said, “This is the type of dog I would own.” She also has become Gabe’s favorite playmate – so much fun to watch them interact. Ava has been a great addition to our family! Take care and thanks again for allowing us to take home Ava!

“Ziv” 12/31/22 – Parent are: Mika & Danek

Can’t tell you how quickly this little guy has become a huge part of my life. His personality is amazing and is so smart! He is loved more than I think he knows! He loves exploring the woods and field near where I live. He is very curious about birds and being spring there’s a lot! When we are out in the field he is off leash and stays close to daddy. He picked his own toy at Pet smart and carried it to the register. He got so much attention! Even the person at the register asked to hold him. He sleeps through the night and wakes me up in the morning to potty. HE IS AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to make him part of my family!

If you remember, we bought a puppy – now named Axel – from you back in September 2021 and he came home with us to NJ that following November.

I believe I promised to send some pictures of our pup as he got older, and I think I failed to keep that promise…so I wanted to send some update pictures of him now that he’s settled into his new home and a bit over 1.5 years.  He’s been such an amazing dog – he’s very energetic, but extremely loyal, intelligent, and loving.  Thanks for all of the help in bringing Ax into our home.

We love our sweet Cola!  After a week, she has figured out how to sleep in our crate without whining too much!  She has also learned how to wait at the front door to let us know she has to go to the bathroom!  She has also destroyed her first toy haha.  We are all happy and healthy!!

Anna & Grady

Four Months later:

She is doing so incredibly well – she is as healthy as a horse, just over 32lbs!  She’s a gangly but athletic puppy –  extremely well behaved and intelligent!  She knows quite a few commands and always seeks to please us anytime she can!  She loves her toy bunny and has finally stopped biting everything in site!  She is potty and crate trained (though we sometimes have a few accidents – but that happens!).  We love our Cola and are thankful y’all took such good care of her in her early days! Have a great day!

Anna & Grady
