Our family of four – Dad, Mom, Jeff, and Natalie – moved to Missouri in 1997 and bought a 35-acre farm in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Three years later, our daughter started raising and breeding white German Shepherd Dogs. She loved animals and also raised, broke, trained, and showed horses. Animals had always been her passion and of course, the whole family became involved. Our goal was not just to breed German Shepherd Dogs; we were committed to breeding only the best quality German Shepherd Dogs, which includes conformation, intelligence, temperament, and working ability.
After our daughter passed away in 2006, we continued her wonderful dog breeding. Because we have a farm, our dogs and puppies have plenty of room to run and romp. We don’t believe in having our dogs in kennels all the time; we give them plenty of exercise and fresh air. We hold and play with our puppies every day (and of course we can’t help that), which makes them very well socialized. We are members of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America and the White German Shepherd Dog Club International and follow their standards for ethical and responsible breeding. We are also members of the Missouri Animal Husbandry Association and the local kennel club, TOTO (Top of the Ozarks). We are always striving to become better breeders by taking classes, going to seminars and lectures by professionals in our field. One of the seminars we attended was given by the USDA with three top veterinarians from the University of Missouri. Dr. Dawna Voelkl, specializing in Theriogenology spoke on Reproduction Topics, Dr. Meghan Harmon spoke on Neonatal Critical Care, and Dr. Richard Meadows spoke on Vaccines and Immunology. Another seminar we attended was on search and rescue given by Region “G” K-9 Search Team (Nationally Certified K-9’s). We are also part of AKC’s “Bred with H.E.A.R.T.” program indicating that we follow all of the guidelines AKC recommends for German Shepherd Dog breeders.
Mahana Bonebrake
Mahana lives in the country with her husband and one of her sons near Springfield, Missouri in Rogersville. They are also animal lovers and chose German Shepherd Dogs for their loyalty and willingness to please their owners. She breeds sable, black sable, black & red and pure black GSDs. She has top quality dogs/puppies from German and Czech lines and desires to continue bettering the breed. Mahana is our good friend and business partner.
All of our dogs and puppies are AKC registered and receive the highest quality medical and nutritional care.
